The Planner

I'm pretty sure the hardest part of planning our wedding is finding a photographer.  I have been jumping from website to website checking out photography portfolios and looking at photo albums.  The thought of me in my wedding dress, shooting everyone throughout the day, has crossed my mind too many times.  My friends and family joke about it too.  I just don't want airbrushed and panned shots all over.  It scares me when I see awesome shots, go to the website, and every other image is a broken link or "enlarge this" turns out to be two pixels bigger than the original, images are severely pixelated, etc.

How I wish Tracey was here.  She doesn't know this, but I always secretly wanted her to be my wedding photographer.  If a wedding was in my future, and it turns out it is.  But she is so far away and I doubt I'd be able to afford her.

Other than the photography, my vision isn't complete so the second hardest part of it all is envisioning what we want, details and all.  We want something beautiful and elegant but we don't want to be paying it off for 10 years.  I'm a big time magazine picture pointer outer but trying to envision what bridesmaids dresses would look great on all of the ladies who might be in the wedding (haven't gotten that far yet), what colors compliment what, hair up or down, ay ya ya.  The things I'm looking forward to the most are starting my life with my best friend, walking down the aisle with my dad, dancing my butt off (hopefully in pro dancing shoes, might as well so I can keep them for salsa!), and seeing everyone I love in one place.
