Showcase Showdown

Snowboarding wasn't all bad. I tried and almost died the first day but the next day was when my friends and I had to cover the Showcase Showdown. It was a skiing and snowboarding competition. The event lasted all day up in Winter Park and was sponsored by Wahoo's Fish Tacos. This pic is of Allyson and another snowboarder before the competition. Allyson was hilarious! Reminded me of my friend, Malcolm, but I couldn't tell her that. We were the only brown girls on the slopes and I think that should change.
