Christmas Cheer

Where to begin. Well I hope your Christmas was great, blessed, and full of love. Mine was all of the above. Thanks for sharing your lists! It was cool to sneak a peek. Having five days off from work and a real break from school was liberating. Awkward to have my 100 mph rollercoaster suddenly come to a halt but I’m finally able to slow down and enjoy my free time. Grades came out on Friday and I got straight As! I can hardly believe that all the hard work paid off. It was a whirlwind but I can honestly say I’m happy with my work. Really happy.

I think I went to the busiest mall three days in a row looking for gifts and good deals. So far I’ve salsa danced, ate my mom’s gumbo, had sushi, and helped my niece put her Lite Brite Cube together. That was one of my favorite games as a little girl and I think I had more fun than Z did playing with it.

I must have been a good girl this year because I got some great goodies. I have the Maya Brenner Charmed Life necklace around my neck, so cute! Shopping sprees at Urban Outfitters and Nordstroms. An adorable red sweater with sparkles, delicious smelling soap, a foot spa, etc.

Awhile ago I bought an eggling at Urban Outfitters. It’s a flower that sprouts in an clay eggshell. I got a chrysanthemum and it’s growing fast. It’s so cool to see the little sprouts reach for the sky. I’m loving being home.

2005 has been a wonderful and amazing year. If I don’t make an appearance before New Year’s, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
