Break It Down

School Well, I didn't get into the class that I wanted to. No one would drop so I'm stuck until it's offered again. I just wanted to get three classes out of the way this semester instead of only two. Taking small bites out of this humongous elephant is starting to get to me. Graduating is a huge goal for me. I'm not a quitter and I want to finish but it is hard staying motivated and school is not cheap.

One of my classes is from 7 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. and it is my only class on Mondays and Wednesdays. I left Littleton at 6:20, rushed to school, sprinted onto the light rail, had a crazy guy asking me to baby-sit him, then it was my stop so I sprinted to class (the whole time with my laptop and heavy books), and stopped at the ladies (didn't want to be late AND leave again). When I was going to class I see two of my classmates walking towards me. Then I walk into class and everyone says, "She bailed, didn't even show up." The teacher didn't SHOW!? So I'm heated and chilly from the cold outside. Walked myself back to the light rail and back to my car. When students don't show, you're marked off for participating. When a teacher doesn't show, nothing happens. I wish teachers would use our contact information for a change.

Also, I have not received a response regarding the email I wrote to the head of the journalism department. Changes need to be made or I will never graduate.

Knitting

I found some Manos! Look at the deliciousness of this yarn!! When I made my first scarf, I didn't know what I was doing. When I was finished and had ends to weave in, I knotted them twice and cut them off! Really close to the knots too. I had no idea I was supposed to weave them in and all that good stuff. So no wonder my first scarf is starting to unravel. That left me the perfect opportunity to make a brand new scarf out of this mixed berry yarn and I am making it using the "My So Called Scarf" pattern from Sheep In the City.

So so pretty, can't wait until it's all finished!
