The boots arrived yesterday and I'm almost positive they aren't a fit with me. Frye makes some fantastically great boots out of premium leather so they will need to be broken in more than other brands. This pair is the Frye Paige Buckle boot.
I ripped open the box yesterday, pulled them on and strutted around my parents' house thinking. I think they look much better on me covered up but these boots are too pricey for one look. I was hoping they would be as versatile as possible. They are pull on and I don't rock skinny jeans so that isn't a look I can go for. My mom thinks they don't taper in enough at the ankle so they are going towards the chunky side. I agree. I cannot do chunky, too short for that. My goal is long and lean in anyway I can get there.
So, I think the verdict is that the black boot hunt for fall/winter 2009 is still in full effect.
What do you think?
