Thanks to my bathtub that takes an extra long time to fill up, I'm able to type here and update. As of Saturday, I have three free months at Bally's! There was so much going on and I was there with my friend, Marlena, for almost two hours. Fat and heart rates were measured, we were timed while doing push-ups, sit-ups, and bicycling. 34 push-ups in a minute wasn't that bad for my age. I think for my age the range was 34-40 so I did well on that at least. "Before" pictures were taken (not that serious) and we were given a tour of the facility. Lots of goodies were there too like Lady Footlocker and Mad Greens which I had never heard of before. They basically sell expensive salads but they gave free samples which were teeny tiny but delicious. While we were getting measured, everyone else got to the salad before we did. The tour came later and afterwards we found out what the catch was. You could either get the three months for free or you can get a contract and be locked in for three years. See, this is why you have to go in pairs to things like this. We both kindly said no and asked for our goodiebags.

I'm going to use the hell out of my membership and go as often as possible. I already went today and did 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer and walked two miles on the track. If it wasn't for my iPod, I would have died on the trainer. Those were a long 30 minutes!

Today I got some new running shoes and they are cayoot. They're the Nike Havas and I love 'em.

I have a board meeting tomorrow with my internship, working out on Wednesday, and I have a freelance job working on a portfolio. I'm excited about the freelance job, I think it's going to be a wonderful creative project.

Hope you had a great weekend. My tub is about to overflow! Goodnight.
