The Motions

It's that time again. First day of a new semester. It's strange being back here. I'm in the computer lab waiting for my 5:30 class to start. This semester is going to be different because I have no studio classes. No art of any kind. At least I think that's right.

I'm taking Intro to Technical Media and Beginning Editing. I would have been able to take Intro to Photojournalism as well but the teacher refuses to teach any evening classes. I sent him an email on the issue and he said he will not teach evening classes. And we're not talking late, we're talking starting at 3 p.m. at the latest. This is a core class for me to get my degree. Plus, I have to take this class in order to take Photojournalism I, and so on. I work from 5:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. so taking an earlier shift is not an option.

I'm sure I'm not alone in my frustration, so after I post this entry I will be writing to the Associate Professor Coordinator/Advisor of Journalism so this will be brought to her attention.

Intro to Photojournalism is only being taught from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays this semester. Ridiculous.

Wish me luck.
