Are you ready for a week of fun, creativity and learning? We’re excited to invite you to Painting Week, where you’ll discover the joy of watercolor painting and create your very own Fisherman Bear illustration!
Painting Week is a special event designed just for you! Over three days, we’ll dive into the wonderful world of watercolor painting and learn step-by-step how to paint a charming Fisherman Bear illustration.
Day 1: Watercolor Supplies and Basics: We’ll start by exploring the tools and materials you need for watercolor painting. Then, we’ll learn the basics of washes and color theory to help you understand how to mix and blend colors like a pro.
Day 2: Thumbnail and Composition: Next, we’ll dive into the creative process by exploring thumbnail sketches and composition. You’ll learn how to plan your illustration and create dynamic compositions that capture the viewer’s attention.
Day 3: Painting Your Final Illustration: On the final day, it’s time to bring your Fisherman Bear to life! We’ll use the skills and techniques we’ve learned to paint a beautiful final illustration that you’ll be proud to display.

Each session will be lead by me, Erika Barriga, and I’ll guide through each step of the painting process. I’ll give you a supply list and a reference photo too! Can’t make it to a session? Don’t worry! Recordings will be available a few hours after each recording so you can paint along at your own pace.
