What? A whole weekday without an entry? I couldn't believe it myself. It was strange actually. Right now I'm drained and in a good way. I decided not to join the crochet class this time around. I'd rather buy yarn and work on more stuff. MORE STUFF. Yes. It's official, I am addicted. I keep trying to stay ahead of the game by knitting now because when next semester starts I will be completely glued to the computer. No time for using charcoals, pencils, brushes, etc.

It's beautiful outside, I'm doing my thing, and I'm loving it. Yesterday I went to the store to work on my new project and it started hailing. Badly. The hail was about the size of half an ice cube where I was but other places got hail as big as golf balls. Many cars were damaged. After about 10 minutes it cleared up and looked like nothing had happened at all. Colorado has some crazy weather at times. After that I went to Jay's, we ate dinner, and watched Mystic River. I loved Sean Penn but I didn't enjoy that movie as much as I thought I would. It was pretty slow.

The poncho is finished and lovely pictures have been taken. They're still being held captive by my camera at the moment so I can't post them just yet. Later tonight is the goal. I started working on a baby summer tank top in french vanilla as the main color and evergreen for the accents. (It's fun to make up your own color names). The pattern is from "The Baby Knits Book: The Ultimate Collection of Knitwear designs for Newborns to 3-Year-Olds" by Debbie Bliss. The baby won't be born for a few more months and I doubt the momma checks out this site much. I want to share here and I probably just will anyway. *shrug* ;)
