Hat and Stockings

At the Cherry Creek Art Festival there was an illustrator, David Diaz, who spoke and worked on some pieces. He showed us his style and talked for awhile. I drew along with the kids with a sheet of paper and a marker out of the marker bucket. I love things like that, getting a peek at someone else's process, no matter what the art form.

This girl was sitting below me while I stood, balanced, and drew.
