Farmer's Market - Taos, New Mexico

Where to begin. The trip to Taos was unbelievable. I had no idea what to expect and I'm glad I went in with that mindset.

On Thursday we arrived and tried to find a great restaurant. Some of the photographers and I went to a cafe/deli and the food was delicious! It started pouring on us and the waitress had to roll up the awning so we wouldn't get soaked. The weather cleared shortly after and we started walking back to the car, shooting here and there.

Aja - Taos, New Mexico

I found this guy, Aja, and asked if I could take his picture. He was walking down the street swaying back and forth, carrying lit incense.

So much to share! I'm not sure how to present the photographs here. For now I'll just post one or more at a time in the journal. I want to do some redesigning in here but it can't happen right now and I'm lacking ideas. Right now I am just so happy I went, met the people I did, have the memories I do, and have the ability to share it here. So much richer for going. I finally learned how to shoot on manual settings. I think my photography is stronger.

Can't stop smiling.
