Didn't do much today, just watched too much tv and sketched. Some days it is nice not to have anywhere to be and just be still.
A little while I ago I picked up two inspiring books and found a great resource:
Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life - The color, the design, the style and Todd Oldham too, just too much goodness in one place.
An Illustrated Life - Getting a sneak peek into the creative process of others is always a treat for me. Extra great if it is the actual sketchbooks, pretty sweet.
I think I first heard about Bobby Chiu through a tweet. I'm so glad I did, his work is sick! This is one of my favorites. He has a channel called Chiustream on Ustream where he conducts interviews with artists as well as maintaining an interactive drawing community.
