Blogging For July - Challenge Complete

Happy Friday! Oh my goodness….I can’t believe I hit my goal of blogging every day (M-F) for the month of July. This was not easy and I needed to embrace the fact that I’m a writer. If you do the thing, you are the thing, that is what I believe. You make art, you are an artist. You write, you are a writer. Last night we moved some heavy furniture and furniture that just needed to go down to the basement. The office feels SO good right now, I can hardly stand it. I don’t ever want to leave and I just know the littles will thrive in it. They already love hanging out under their desk, being silly and eating snacks. I love they way they play and they inspire me daily.

Now that this project is winding down I can get back on track with creating, going live and playing with my kids. Not in that order, lol. I have been following this podcast episode from The Lazy Genius, episode 164, for summer meal planning and it is LIFE CHANGING. I am not playing, meals have been made and the kids have not been asking for something to eat every 5-10 minutes. I tried a new recipe last night and it was soooo good too! Our baby, our 5 year old, she has had something against chicken for awhile. Not that she doesn’t like it but she always acts like we eat it everyday. So when she sees it she is like, “Chicken? Again?!”. It’s a trip. But this time, she tore that chicken up. No joke, she LOVES it, so this chicken recipe will be on rotation for awhile. Super easy too, just follow it to the letter, especially the aluminum foil part. Trust. Here is my Pinterest board for the recipes I love, this one went straight to this board.

I hope you had a good week and you relax this weekend. I will definitely be getting some rest in too.
