MERRY CHRISTMAS! I'm early, I know but that's what craziness will do to you. I am almost done Christmas shopping/making. This is getting harder than I thought it would be. Tough to juggle and you can't knit a gift in front of the person who's getting the gift so that just makes it even tougher.
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to find out why I keep getting sick in the middle of the night. I have been praying and trying to eat differently but nothing seems to work. There is no noticeable trend at all. It is no fun barely eating for fear of getting awoken by a bad stomachache.
I just have to get through two more days of work and it's time for another "vacation". Vacation meaning time off from everything but I'll probably and hopefully will still be knitting orders and drawing for hire. If you would like to hire me for some brilliant and original idea you have, email me at five3girlATgmailDOTcom. I'd love to hear about it and be a part of it.
As for life, my family that just moved out here is going back to Cali for Christmas. And, on top of that, my grandma is moving back for good. Colorado isn't her cup of tea and I understand. It gets pretty cold out here and it is completely different from the California she's used to. So I'll miss her but it is for the best.
I'm almost done with an order for 10 wristbands!! A local boutique is going to sell them. They were inspired by the wristbands in Stitch N Bitch but they are different. Mine say geek, dude, meow, rad, and rock. I hope they sell quickly. I want to sell baby hats in the boutique as well. We'll see how this order goes first.
As for Illustration Friday, I am loving the way this community is growing. It's nice to have your work complimented by other artists you admire. *cough* Doug *cough*. Viva illustrations! Werd.
*** This is late but Steve Mack, a GREAT illustrator, finally has journal. For some reason I thought he was much older than me because of his illustration style but he was born in 76, one year before me. Who woulda thunk it?
