Fashionista

I was looking at the forums over at boltcity and got to this string. It reminded me of one of my favorite toys growing up. Fashion Plates. Remember those? You'd get a little crayon holder that can hold a black crayon so you can rub an image onto your paper from the plates. There were tons of different plates (heads, torsos, legs) with different designs. Heads = different hairdos and ethnicities, torsos = different tops and poses, and legs = different bottoms and poses. I loved this toy. It made me feel like a fashion designer and the possiblities were endless. I still have it in my grown up toy chest. I can't let go. Remember Pogo balls? Jem? Smurfs? Micro Machines commercials with the guy who talked really fast? GI Joe? Skeletor's Castle? Slime? Voltron? Remote controlled cars were the best...

Do you remember your favorite toys?
