I'm in pain. So lazy that I don't want to go to the store to get my prescription anti-inflammatory for my foot. My foot has been acting up since December and I think I can pinpoint it to the time I got my heels resoled on my boots.
I tried the massages, oils, reflexology and all that was relaxing and decadent but it didn't work. On Monday I wore heels to work, felt a little discomfort but decided to do 40 minutes on the treadmill anyway. My foot was screaming that night and it's let up a little since then. I broke down and went to the doctor today. Nothing looked wrong on the x-ray so I'm going to schedule an appointment with a podiatrist.
In good news, the big things have been booked! Chapel, photographer, and reception site. Raul gave me a spa gift certificate that I still haven't used and I said I would when the chapel and reception site were booked. Ahh yes!
Jo and I are more excited than everyone about what's going down on Saturday.
We are tasting c-a-k-e! Das Meyer has a reputation for nothing short of delicious cakes. They are a mom and pop place and whenever I mention their name, someone's eyes roll back and say how delicious it is. My mouth is watering just talking about it.
I want a beautiful dessert, but my sweet tooth craves an absolutely scrumptious one. The best part about planning is having my friends and family with me. It's a team effort.
