you baked! Another one of my friends got promoted and their last day is on Friday. We had a pot luck at work and I decided to bake. I love lemon bars and had never baked them before. They turned out great. I also baked big fat chocolate chip cookies. (Both recipes found on foodtv.com, the lemon bar recipe is by Ina Garten and the other one is by Tyler Florence.) Everyone loved them and there were barely any left to take home, delish!

My lens came today!! I'm getting the hang of it and trying not to get too frustrated. I want to pick up things as fast as possible and when I stumble I can't stand it. Have to crawl before you walk. My mom was a good sport and let me take her pic, isn't she beautiful? More pics on flickr.
