I am not adventurous in the kitchen. I cook but completely by the book. Recipes are followed to the letter. At least the first time so I know how it was supposed to taste. But I never seem to get to the experimenting part even on the second try.
The mister and I eat out a lot but recently we've been cooking more. I cook for the quantity on the recipe. He cooks enough for fourths and fifths without losing flavor.
Maybe the next second try at a recipe I'll go more outside the box. Maybe.
