Since frozen pumpkin pies weren't sounding appealing and sweet potato pies were proving to be on the run, I baked. From the little teeny tiny tasters I had, I don't think these will disappoint. So my first pies baked ever were Pecan Pumpkin and Sweet Potato. Williams Sonoma had a sale on this Pecan Pumpkin Butter and all you do is add eggs and heavy cream. The sweet potato pie was a recipe found on the Southern Living site. I miss my nanny and she could bake some delicious sweet potato pies.
So hard to wait until after dinner tomorrow to dig into these.
