I'm about to try a new recipe called Chicken Thighs with Creole Mustard-Orange Sauce after I write this. Sounds tasty to me, I'll let you know how it goes. Really feeling like a home-cooked meal today. I made this pineapple upside down cake for a potluck last week and it was a hit. Deliciously bad for you.
I have a pile of books on getting published and I'm chugging along with that. God only knows how many drafts of query letters I am going to go through before I finally feel confident about one. I'm embracing the process with open and shaky arms. I thought the hardest part was over, writing and illustrating my children's book. Not quite.

recipe update - The chicken was tasty but the sauce was a little intense by itself. We had the chicken on top of white rice and the orange juice and broth mixture was too much for me. I think it was the acidity.
